Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Ootto (“we”, “us”) subscriptions and services purchased through ootto.ai or content.ootto.ai.

Subscriptions and billing

Ootto for Content is offered as two recurring monthly subscriptions — the $49/mo self-serve connector and the $599/mo done-for-you plan — plus one-time, prepaid image-credit packs. Subscriptions bill in advance each month and renew automatically until cancelled.

The 7-day free trial

The self-serve plan's 7-day trial is free — nothing is charged when it starts. If you cancel any time during the 7 days, you will not be charged at all; cancelling during the trial ends the subscription and your access straight away. If you don't cancel, the trial converts to the regular $49/mo subscription at the end of day 7 and billing begins from that point. Because no payment is taken during the trial itself, there is nothing to refund for a trial period alone.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time from your account's billing page. On a paid subscription, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then, you will not be charged again, and we do not charge a cancellation fee. During a free trial, cancellation takes effect immediately, as covered above.

Refunds

We want you to be confident in Ootto. Our refund policy:

  • First payment — if Ootto isn't right for you, email us within 7 days of your first paid charge on either the $49/mo or $599/mo plan and we'll refund that payment in full.
  • Renewals and partial periods — renewal charges and unused portions of a billing period are generally non-refundable, but we review every request individually: if something went wrong on our end or Ootto didn't work as described, we'll make it right.

Image credit packs

Image-credit packs are one-time, prepaid purchases used to generate images inside your reels. Unused credits are refundable if you email us within 7 days of purchase. Credits you've already used are not refundable, since they paid for images that were already generated and delivered to your account. Unused credits don't expire and remain available on your account for future use.

How to request a refund

Email us at support@ootto.ai from the address on your account, with the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days, though the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
