Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Ootto website at ootto.ai and Ootto for Content, our paid Instagram business operator. By using either, you agree to these Terms.
The service
These Terms govern both the ootto.ai marketing website and Ootto for Content, our paid Instagram business operator reachable at content.ootto.ai and ootto.ai/content (together, the "Service"). Billing, refund, and cancellation terms for Ootto for Content are set out in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account.
Connecting Instagram and other accounts
Ootto for Content connects to an Instagram account you authorize through Meta's login flow. By connecting an account, you grant Ootto permission to read the data and take the actions (such as replying to comments, sending direct messages, or publishing content) covered by the permissions you approve during that connection. You represent that you are authorized to connect the account and that your use of it complies with Instagram's and Meta's own terms and policies.
You can also connect a YouTube channel through Google's own consent screen, which lets Ootto show your channel and its videos and upload a video you made in Ootto as a YouTube Short when you press Post to YouTube. Ootto uses YouTube API Services: by connecting YouTube you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) applies. You are responsible for what you post and for following YouTube's Community Guidelines. Disconnect YouTube in Ootto, or remove Ootto at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions, at any time; our Privacy Policy describes exactly what we read, upload and keep.
Connecting TikTok
You can connect a TikTok account you authorize through TikTok's own login (TikTok Login Kit). Ootto then reads only the data and takes only the actions covered by the permissions you approve on TikTok's consent screen, as listed in our Privacy Policy. A video is sent to TikTok only when you press Post to TikTok or Send to TikTok as draft, with the caption, privacy and disclosure settings you choose; by posting you agree to TikTok's Terms of Service and Music Usage Confirmation, and, for branded content, TikTok's Branded Content Policy. You are responsible for what you post and for following TikTok's terms and community guidelines. You can disconnect TikTok in Ootto at any time.
The Claude / MCP connector
A paid plan issues a personal connection key that lets you operate your Ootto account from Claude or another MCP client. You are responsible for keeping that key confidential and for actions taken through it; revoke a key from your account settings if you believe it has been exposed.
Your content
You retain ownership of the website, brand information, media, and other content you provide to Ootto. You grant us a license to use, store, and process that content, and the content Ootto generates from it, solely to provide and improve the Service to you. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide any content you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Your cloned voice
You may clone only your own voice, and only after agreeing to the consent line we show you. You keep every right to your voice. You let us, and the voice provider that makes the clone, use your recordings and the clone only to speak the reels you make with Ootto. Ootto never uses them to train any AI model. Our providers' own terms for the content sent to them are set out in our Privacy Policy under "Your cloned voice". You can delete your cloned voice at any time with Delete voice clone on your voice page or by emailing [email protected]; we then delete it as the Privacy Policy describes and confirm it to you in writing.
No guaranteed results
Ootto is a tool that researches, drafts, and (where you enable it) posts and replies on your behalf. We do not guarantee any specific number of leads, followers, views, engagement, or revenue.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, accessing it through unauthorized means, using it to spam or harass people, or using it for unlawful purposes.
Demo bookings
When you request or book a demo, you agree to provide accurate information. Scheduling is handled by a third-party calendar provider.
Intellectual property
The Service, its content, logos, and design are owned by Ootto and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
Third-party services and links
The Service links to and integrates third-party services (such as Paddle for payments, Composio and Meta for the Instagram connection, TikTok for the TikTok connection, Google for the YouTube connection, Anthropic for AI features, and scheduling and analytics providers). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ootto will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
You can cancel your subscription at any time as described in our Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
